A brand new group has been formed called Couch Surfers with Disabilities. It is open to all who are interested in getting people from all over the globe help to make CS even better for anyone with any kind of disability/limitation/ difference. I am really glad to have non-disabled people in the group, since I hope to foster the understanding that people are all the same at heart & we all have something valuable to offer, if only we are willing to open the way.
Hopefully, many will join and we can work together to create ways of determining levels of accessibility, a working definition of accessibility for the CS community, and generally raising consciousness of the varying needs of disabled travellers, among other things.
