CouchSurfing is responding to the evacuation orders that are taking affect in the Gulf States region due to Hurricane Gustav.
We have gone ahead and created a group where members being evacuated can post a request and other members can post their couch offers:

However, we need your help to spread the word. Please post in your local groups to let your local members know about the request for help.
If you have the time, we especially need help contacting members from affected areas who are not members of their local groups (i.e. CS members from New Orleans who are not members of the New Orleans group).
